First there were these fabric baskets, which I made for Nat.
Then there was this adorable Geranium dress that I made for baby girl. I just love Rae's patterns and was very flattered that she asked me to pattern test for her.
Then there were these notebooks made for my sewing buddy, J and her daughter, for the holidays.
And then there were 5 pairs of adult pj pants and 6 pairs of big butt baby pants made! I was pretty proud of myself on the big butts because baby boy is nearly 3 and the pattern only goes up to a 2. I tried sizing it up a little and it worked! I've never sized up any pattern before, so I was really happy that it worked out. Making all the pjs was fun because I got to whittle down some of my stash! Of course of the 11 pairs of pants, I only have a photo of the kids' matching reindeer pants. I also appliqued reindeer tops for them.
And with that my sewing for 2012 came to a close. And while I have yet to have decent time to sew in 2013, I'm really looking forward to it! Here are just a couple of the things I'm really looking forward to at the moment:
Pretty Little Pouch Swap Round 6! As y'all know, I'm a pouch addict! I've been with this group since round 1, and I'm so excited to see what's in store for me this time around. They will be accepting anyone who wants to join the swap and the swap opens tomorrow, so be there or be square....
(for more details on each of these, click here)
Aside from these two biggies at the moment, I'm also wanting to try out these (J, I didn't forget!):
-round bottom fabric storage buckets
-shirred pj pants (because making 11 pairs of pj pants just wasn't enough for me!)
-plastic animal pin cushion
-ticker tape canvas
-if I could crochet, I would make this beautiful blanket!
Happy 2013! What will you be making this year?

Great to see you back! :) I can't believe you made all those pj pants! :) And pattern testing for Rae? Whoa! :)
