Whew, so I've had my PLP6 swap idea in my mind for the past week or so, but the boy's duvet was taking up most of my time, so I just finished the swap in the knick of time! My partner likes bright colors, patterns, text, and grey backgrounds. She also likes a bit of embroidery.
That was all the excuse I needed to play with Elizabeth's new pattern, Wheel of Fortune. I love it! I made one 6.5" block and despite all the paper piecing, it goes by pretty quickly. I added a little border and then embroidered some spools and scissors. It was fun to play with some new features on the machine though had I had more time, I probably would have done some hand sewing instead.
And here's the whole package that is one it's way! I used a little of my favorite little Japanese print to make an itty bitty wall hanging (she likes Japanese prints too) and enclosed a few other goodies.
And here's what I received from Jayme-- a triple zip! She also sent along some lovely charms and lace. Aren't I a lucky gal!?
Linking up today to Finish it up Friday!
